About the Awards
9th Annual Diversity & Family Friendly Awards
This is the 9th year for the Diversity Conference & Awards, presented by the Evansville-Area Human Resource Association and Society for Human Resource Management, in conjunction with The Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana, Indiana Minority Supplier Development Council and The Evansville Courier & Press. This program has twice received national recognition when it was included in the Showcase of Leadership Excellence at SHRM's (Society for Human Resource Management) annual Leadership Conference in Alexandria, VA. The program was honored in the Diversity category and was one of only four SHRM chapters worldwide to be be recognized in this category. As always, a panel of independent judges will evaluate the nominated companies based on employee size.

Purpose of the Program:
The purpose of the program is to honor and recognize companies within the Tri-State area that are leaders in developing a workplace that embraces diversity and family friendly practices and to share and promote best practices within our community.
