Miyoshi Lafourche

Miyoshi LaFourche is a native Californian, wife and mother of three teen-agers ages (21, 18 and 16 yrs). She has over 20 years of Human Resource professional experience in the areas of (Staffing, HR Generalist and Consultant) in both private and public sector organizations such as quasi-government Water Agency, Pharmaceutical, Entertainment (Walt Disney & J. Paul Getty Museum), Construction and Banking. Her love for recruiting has been demonstrated through-out her various careers and she describe herself as a “HR Specialist.”

She joined the Talent Acquisition Team at Toyota Marketing and Sales, USA Inc. (TMS) in our corporate offices in November, 2004. Miyoshi’s expertise as the Talent Acquisition Coordinator for TMS offers a wide range of consulting services to various departments – from developing recruitment strategy, internet sourcing, career counseling and behavioral interview trainer (certified through DDI).

She has been recognized for her excellent customer service, recruitment strategy and community involvement. Miyoshi enjoys being actively involved with youths and feels they are our future retirement plans! Her involvement includes President, Title 1 Program for LA Unified School District- 2005, Coordinator for Young Black Scholars Foundation “Dress for Success” and the Richard Riodan Foundation for Youth and Career Coach for “Next Steps” Program for emancipated youth from the Foster Care program.
