· The Red Cross is not a government agency, relying on donations and grants · More than 85¢ of every dollar raised supports programs and services · Assistance to those in need (We serve more than 35,000 every year) · Provide assistance to victims of disasters like flooding, severe weather and house fires · Provide emergency communications and financial assistance for members of the military and their families. · Collect and distribute over 90,000 lifesaving blood products to all local hospitals · Operated the largest and longest running WWII canteen in the country from 1942 – 1946, serving 1.6 million service men and women.
Volunteer Driven · More than 1,000 volunteers help victims of disasters, teach CPR classes, transmit military messages, work blood drives and staff community first aid stations · Education · Teach people to save lives with CPR, first aid, water safety, babysitting and automated external defibrillator training

We provide people with information about arthritis. We help to
educate people about arthritis and provide resources for them if they are newly diagnosed or have been living with this disease for years. The Mission of the Arthritis Foundation is to improve lives through leadership.

Boom Squad Inc.

Boom Squad, Inc. (BSI) is a performing drum line for youth ages 4-17 represented by over 35 different Evansville area schools. We offer youth percussion, dance, and life skills along with family development opportunities. Our mission is to provide youth the skills necessary to make well-informed choices that lead to a healthy lifestyle and successful future. BSI consists of over 100 youth members of various backgrounds and approximately 65 adult volunteers. Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity of Evansville is a Christian housing ministry that builds homes for families in need through partnerships with donors, sponsors, volunteers and its families. The ministry was founded in 1984 and has since built nearly 350 homes in Vanderburgh and Posey counties. Eligibility is based on a family’s need, willingness to commit to 300 hours of sweat equity and the ability to pay a mortgage based on a 25-year no-interest loan. Mortgage payments are approximately $275 a month, which includes taxes and insurance. HOLA (Hospitality and Outreach for Latin Americans)

HOLA is a non-for-profit 501c3 organization working for the inclusion on the Latino community into the Tri-State area since 2002.
